Thank-A-Teacher Award Winner

Theo Wiles Wins Thank-A-Teacher Award
Posted on 01/17/2020

"It's only two breaths of air: thank you. And it means so much." -Theo Wiles

That's what Theo Wiles teaches his fourth grade students at Boca Raton Elementary. He leads by example by cooking breakfast for the students when they master skills on Khan Academy or by showing up to their sporting events and extracurriculars outside of school. So it's no surprise he received more than 30 nominations for Thank-a-Teacher Thursday! The real surprise was when his students, administration, and his family, including his sister, Lauren Wiles, who is a teacher at Loggers Run Middle School, showed up in his classroom to say "thank you," with the help of ValuTeachers.
