Meet the Principal

Originally from Washington, D.C., Mrs. Renee Elfe made South Florida her home in 1991. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Florida State University. She later pursued Educational Leadership certification from Florida Atlantic University and holds endorsements in both English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Exceptional Student Education (ESE).

Mrs. Elfe began her educational career at Addison Mizner Elementary in Boca Raton, where she taught for 10 years. Her passion for educational leadership led her to Morikami Park Elementary, where she served as Assistant Principal. She was later appointed principal of several schools, including Sunrise Park Elementary, Morikami Park Elementary, and Omni Middle School, before being named principal of Boca Raton Elementary.

In the fall of 2025, Mrs. Elfe will begin her 14th year as principal of Boca Raton Elementary School. With more than 23 years of leadership experience and over three decades in education, she brings exceptional knowledge, dedication, and expertise to the role.

Mrs. Elfe has been happily married for over 33 years and is a proud mother of two sons. She believes every child deserves access to a high-quality education grounded in academic excellence, compassion, and safety. She works tirelessly each day to make this vision a reality for the students of Boca Raton Elementary and is honored to serve such a vibrant and dedicated school community. She looks forward to another outstanding school year.
